New Tech Blog! Cloud, Storage, Virtualization, Systems, Security, IoT, and More

In my first post, I’ll try to explain what I’m trying to do here… This isn’t my first website and I doubt it will be my last. Instead of using one of the numerous domains I’ve used over the years or creating another business, I’ve decided to just use my name. If I decide to change directions, add a new topic, or post about my project of the month, it’ll still apply, since I’ll always be me.

So, as of now, I plan on talking about Enterprise IT. I’m currently employed as a Storage (EMC – VNX, RecoverPoint, Data Domain, etc.) and Virtualization (VMware) focused Sr. Systems Engineer. Going through my notes, I have some content surrounding these technologies that I may post about as well, such as PowerShell, Cisco/Brocade Fibrechannel switch scripting, etc.

I’m also interested in IoT, home automation, autonomous robots, microcontrollers including Arduino and Raspberry Pi, fabrication, solar power/charging, and building/fixing everyday things.

I don’t have a ton of extra time to add this site to my list of projects, so please be patient if you comment and I don’t immediately reply. That being said – if any of these topics interest you and you’d like to hear more about them, let me know.
